The Beats & The Blues Vinyl Release Show

Yesterday our mentees celebrated the release of their vinyl project “The Beats & The Blues”. This is a collaboration between Haven Studios producers and The Bronzeville Blues Collaborative where Blues musicians recorded original music for our mentees to sample to create beats. To celebrate the pressing of the project we had had legendary Chicago artists Mike Wheeler (Blues) and Matt Muse (Hip Hop) perform at King College Prep.
