Another component to our conference is the push to getting more people tested. So many of our youth aren't sure of their status which could be potentially dangerous in the spreading of disease. The Aids Health Organization will be helping to provide FREE testing for everyone. Our goal is to have as many people tested as possible in hopes to change the stigma.
Open Mic, Cyphers & more
Want to perform but missed the deadline? No problem we will be having an open mic and cyphers throughout the day. Bring your best verse, poem or song and be ready to perform! The Open Mic will be hosted by The Corner. Please be sure to come early to sign up!
A new type of music mentoring program that gives the youth a positive outlet to express themselves.
Haven Studio is a resource for youth that wish to express themselves through music. Our vision is to positively impact the lives of at risk and in-need youth using mentorship and expose them to the many possibilities that exist within the music business. We believe that a haven is more than a place of refuge, it is also the place you prefer to be. This philosophy has led us to create a space that engages youth through their interests, engenders trust and builds genuine relationships.
